Viasat, a global leader in mobile satellite communications, set out to create a new London headquarters in 2023 following its acquisition of UK-based Inmarsat.

To support this vision, Workbench delivered a flexible suite of boardroom furniture, featuring advanced AV integration within a fully mobile 10-metre boardroom table.

Collaborating with TP Bennett and The Furniture Practice, the project was guided by the brief of designing a supportive, dynamic, and agile workspace. Workbench worked closely with the client through in-person stone selection to ensure the creation of a truly distinctive centrepiece. The final design combined Fenix laminate with a natural black Tempest stone inlay, resulting in a multifunctional boardroom table that can comfortably seat up to 24 people, while also transforming into an 8-person circular configuration for more personal, collaborative meetings.
